Hi there, my name is Ivy and until recently I was living on the streets after my owner passed away. No one knows what happened to me between my travels from my original home, nearly 10 miles away, to where I was found.
The nice people at Medivet Carterton took me in and looked up my microchip details to see if they could find my guardian. After some sleuthing they discovered my tragic tail, oops, tale and they took care of me making sure I was fed and didn't have any fleas or worms. Fortunately a lovely lady who has lots of experience fostering cats and kittens came to the rescue and has provided me with a warm and cozy home to live in until I can find my furrever home where I can live out the rest of my nine lives.
I am pretty relaxed to live with but I prefer attention and fusses on my terms. I don't think I would like to live with younger children but it might be nice to have someone to play with, as long as they respect my boundaries when I want to chillax on my own. I'd like to have access to the outdoors but I'm not particularly fussed about dashing out the door to chase birds like some kind of crazy youth so I'd be happy to lounge indoors most of the time.
