Thank you for looking at one of our wonderful Rescue Remedies cats! We hope that this brief profile will give you a little bit more information about how you can offer one or more of our cats a home for life.

We are a small, independent rescue run by a small team of staff and lots and lots of volunteers who all are passionate about rescuing animals. We offer rescue spaces to cats from all walks of life – some come from council pounds having been found stray, others from families directly who can no longer keep them, some via social services, and nearly all have very sad stories. We have an army of Cat Cuddler volunteers who love our cats to pieces and spend hours chatting to them, stroking them and socialising them, so that they are ready to be cherished in their new homes.

Missy's story: Missy is about six months old, and was found under a lady's car with no owner being traceable. The finder very kindly hung on to Missy until we had space to take her in, and loved having her hugely but due to travelling didn't feel able to keep her permanently. Missy joined us at the end of August 2025.

About Missy now: Oh wow, what a little purr-machine this wee girlie is! Already a firm fave with visitors, Missy loves to curl up on your lap, or in your arms being cradled like a baby, and purrs furiously with affection. She has sooooo much love to give and so wants a human to give her lots of love back!

Microchipped – yes
Spayed/neutered – booked for Sept 2025
Vaccinated – underway
Full rescue back-up for life - yes

What kind of home Missy needs: Missy is hugely loving and affectionate, and would be a lovely family pet or a best friend for an adult owner. She will love you enormously! She would like to have a garden to explore when the time is right. We aren't sure about whether she would be happy with a dog, but she could live with a cat friend.

We home our cats NATIONWIDE and have been as far as Guernsey for the right family for one of our cats! The very first step is to head to our website and complete the Homing Enquiry form.
