Pattern: Spotted / RosettedMerlin is neutered, microchipped but not vaccinatedNo medical issues or recurring health problems Merlin is an 8 year old silver Bengal.

He is very affectionate, friendly and likes to sit on your lap. He’s also a loud boy who likes to announce to the house that he’s arrived home. His diet consists of Royal Canin Bengal cat biscuits. He’s an outdoor cat and has been since adulthood from our last house in Devon to our current in West Dunbartonshire. Merlin has always liked to venture and explore the local area. Since my wife Mhairi and I had our daughter two years ago, he’s been roaming more frequently and visiting households who feed him. There can be instances when Merlin won’t return home for prolonged periods including anything up to a week and even when we enquire to his whereabouts, and retrieve him, it’s become a continuous trend. Worryingly, when he does return home, he no longer gets along with his littermate Fitch, who is a brown Bengal, and this often results in the pair fighting and Merlin subsequently over grooming and then pulling out his fur on his lower back. It’s because of this, my wife and I have decided with a heavy heart, that he needs to go to a home where he is the only pet and there are no small children. We believe that he would be good with older children who would give a lovely boy the fuss and attention that we cannot. We are reluctantly rehoming but feel this would be best for both cats.

He's currently based in West Dunbartonshire ScotlandPlease contact: The Welfare Team (jenanste@aol.com) 07717 575198 if you are interested in Merlin and we will give you the contact details. A rehoming donation fee of £200 is required and is to be paid directly to The BCA [Acc. Number: 37275178 Sort code: 60-20-21] We offer a non-profit adoption service run by volunteers, all monies raised goes back into our fantastic Bengal Cat Club (The Bengal Cat Association) and will be used to benefit either Pedigree Bengal Cats in need, our Annual Charity (Saving Wild Cats) or the Club Members). Included in your adoption fee will be 5 weeks of insurance & 1 years BCA Club membership, please ensure you provide your details to the Welfare Team to ensure you get these benefits
