Rehoming Centre: Jelly's Place, Whitstable, Kent
Once owned, Erasmus had been put out to fend for himself, when his 'owner' moved out of the country. He quickly found a dog person and began to convert them by following him home.
(trying to insert a paragraph here 22.09.24 as formating was lost on all previous listings) He bided his time until it was hot and then began coming into the house while doors were open. After plenty of good ham and cheese he was taken in and cherished by the so called 'dog person!' Erasmus was fiercely loyal to his people; he would wait for the young un's to finish school, waiting outside and getting fusses from passers by, until they came home. He would see them in and help with homework by laying on books, he was always happy to listen to young people learning to read and enjoyed following along with any books being read on a kindle, he would change the page back if you got too far ahead of him.
(trying to insert a bold type paragraph here 22.09.24 as formating was lost on all previous listings) He was a prolific hunter and could catch dragonflies mid flight; he enjoyed bringing home the leftovers of his hunting trips for the poor saps who had to go to sainsbury's; they never did get the hang of it though! Erasmus was the best cat.
I have added a photograph to this for testing purposes 21.03.25
