A voluntary position, working online, from home, on a flexible hours basis. We are seeking an experienced blog writer to create engaging, informative blog posts on a variety of cat-related topics, for a new Blog section coming soon to the Cat Chat website.
If you love cats and would like to help people and their cats, with the emphasis on adoption and rescue, this is a great role for you!
Job Outline
A range of potential blog topics will be provided; additionally the post-holder will be welcome to suggest other cat-related topics that they are particularly knowledgeable or passionate about. Blog posts will broadly be based around rescue & rehoming, cat adoption, feline health and behaviour, cat care and welfare.
Our Blog posts aim to be engaging & informative; factual but friendly (and entertaining if appropriate!). Guidelines and support will be provided.
Requirements
Experienced bloggers, with some knowledge of cat rescue & welfare. Applicants must be fully computer literate and have an excellent command of English.
Time Commitment
Variable to suit applicant. Ideally you would be able to provide us with 1 - 2 blogs per month.
Additional Information
Cat Chat is a friendly, fully inclusive team. Applicants must be 18 or over and resident in the UK or Ireland. Applicants will need to provide one or more examples of their previously published blog posts. Two references will be required from shortlisted applicants.
